Business Unit Ion Exchange Resins sales meeting in Singapore

Strong commitment to the Asia-Pacific Region  

On October 21-22 2009, the business unit Ion Exchange Resins (BU ION) ASEAN/ANZ/PAK* sales team met in Singapore for a technical training and update on the latest Lewatit^® resin developments.

 

During the meeting Stefan Hilger, Head of Technical Marketing APAC** among others gave a detailed introduction on the recently launched Lewatit MonoPlus^® S108 and Lewatit MonoPlus^® S108 H. Both types are results of some years of specific research work and will help to further strengthen the strong BU ION position in the global Ion Exchange Resin market.

 

The venue was also used to introduce Beryn John Adams as the new Technical Marketing Manager for ASEAN/ANZ/PAK*. "Mr. Hilger, who will return to Germany by end of 2009 gave a excellent support to the region. With Mr. Adams we have the ideal successor on board" stated Wolfgang Heuchel, VP BU ION APAC**.

 

Next to the technical discussions the BU ION sales force from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Pakistan and Vietnam gave an outlook and assessment on the 2010 projects. "The engagement and commitment of the team to the BU ION strategy and initiatives is the base for our success", said Mark Seah, BU ION Sales Manager ASEAN / ANZ*.
