Getting to LANXESS

 

Arriving by car

 

The "Leverkusen Chempark" can be reached by the expressways A1, A3 and A59.

• Follow the named expressways in the direction "Leverkusen".
• From the expressway A59 please change over to expressway A1 direction "Leverkusen".
• From the expressway A1 change over at the Leverkusen crossing to the expressway A3 direction "Köln" (Cologne). Follow the expressway A3 until you reach the Leverkusen exit.
• Leaving the expressway please follow the direction signs to the Chemiepark vistor reception center.

 

Arriving by train and bus

 

The "Leverkusen Chempark" can also be conveniently reached by public transportation.

The "S-Bahn" (local train service) to Bayerwerk or Leverkusen-Mitte station runs approx. every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.

• From Cologne main station ("Köln Hbf") please take the S 6 line towards Essen
• From Düsseldorf main station ("Düsseldorf Hbf") please take the S 6 line towards Cologne

Afterwards please continue by bus nos. 201, 233 or 255 direction "Bayerwerk". Buses run every 10 minutes on weekdays, every 30 minutes on Saturdays and hourly on Sundays.

 

 

Arriving by plane

 

The nearest airports to Leverkusen are Düsseldorf (approx. 90 minutes away) and Cologne/Bonn (approx. 60 minutes).

 

Düsseldorf Airport

 

From the airport please take the S-Bahn (local train service) S 7 line to Düsseldorf main station (Düsseldorf Hbf).

The S-Bahn runs

• approx. every 20 minutes from 5.05 - 20.05 and
• every 30 minutes from 20.35 - 0.35

Afterwards please change the S-Bahn to the S 6 line (toward Cologne) and drive to "Leverkusen-Mitte" or "Bayerwerk" station.

The S-Bahn runs

• every 20 minutes on weekdays and
• every 30 minutes at weekends.

Cologne/Bonn Airport

 

From the airport please take the S-Bahn (local train service) S 13 line to Cologne-Deutz station (Köln-Deutz Bf).

The S-Bahn runs

• every 15-30 minutes.

Afterwards please stay on the same platform to take the S 6 line (toward Essen) and drive to "Bayerwerk" or "Leverkusen-Mitte" station.

The S-Bahn runs

• every 20 minutes on weekdays and
• every 30 minutes at weekends.
